Baumgertner's lawyers to decline comments
The Uralkali CEO does not want his lawyers to comment on his case and the course of investigation. He also wants them to avoid "any other comments."
His lawyer Hanna Slavina told Interfax on Tuesday:
"Following our client’s request, we will refrain from any comments concerning this case,” she said.
All the three Baumgertner’s lawyers refused to say whether his client knew that a criminal case had been started against him in Russia. However, “Belarusian lawyers have not been officially informed about the criminal case started in Russia,” press secretary of the Belarusian Bar Iryna Reut said.
