German citizen Rico Krieger, sentenced to death in Belarus, was recently found guilty of the explosion at the railway station. This follows from the information from the court, published by the propagandist Liudzmila Hladkaya. She mentions the "testimony of dozens of witnesses, victims, residents of the streets closest to the site of the explosion, people who were at the station at the time and after the explosion. In a publication on the website sb.by, she specifies that she is referring to the incident that happened at the Azyaryshcha railway station near Minsk in the late evening of October 5, 2023. The station is regularly used for loading and unloading of military equipment. There were no casualties and the damage caused by the explosion was minor. Law enforcement officials were searching for three men allegedly involved in the railroad explosion. None of them resembled Krieger.

Rico Krieger was sentenced to death in late June, charged under six articles of the Belarusian Criminal Code. According to Belarusian propagandists, he allegedly received an order from the SBU to scout and photograph the Wagner camp near Asipovichy. He arrived in Belarus on October 2, 2023, and was behind bars by October 6.

Krieger pleaded guilty in part to only one of the six articles of the indictment - "agent activity". He refused to testify.

The German Foreign Ministry said it was looking into the case of Rico Krieger.
