Wives appeal to EU for release of Belarus political prisoners
Nasta Palazhanka and Maryna Adamovich have published their petition on Change.org
They remind that the Young Front
(registered in Czech Republic) leader Zmitser Dashkevich and ex-presidential
candidate Mikalaj Statkevich were arrested two years ago and are still behind
the bars.
The political prisoners' relatives note that both prisoners suffer from
horrible confinement conditions. After arrest, they got the status of
"malicious rule breakers" and were transferred to the
reinforced-security prisons.
"We are asking you to help us to get our beloved people back - sign our
petition to the to the heads of the EU member states governments with an appeal
to continue their efforts aimed at release and rehabilitation of Zmitser
Dashkevich, Mikalaj Statkevich and other political prisoners", - say
Adamovich and Palazhanka.
