Lithuania and Latvia - for sanctions which won't harm ordinary Belarusians

According to President Dalia Grybauskaitė, Lithuania and Latvia have common positions in this regard, reports the portal DELFI. The Lithuanian leader says that it is necessary to impose sanctions on the Belarusian regime, but ordinary citizens should not suffer from that.

President of Latvia Andris Bērziņš has noted, in his turn, that Latvian companies made many investments into Belarus. If they have considerable losses, these will be not just economic losses - people at both sides of the border will suffer, too, Andris Bērziņš says.

Let us remind you, Foreign Ministers of the EU member states should take a decision on new sanctions against the Belarusian authorities today. According to non-official information, 12 people and 29 organizations may be added to the "black list".
