Jane Air: Viewers are so lively! They keep slamming even during the break!

It was strange to come to a happening and find out that only the security guards were older than you. However, we did not want to miss Jane Air’s Minsk concert. The band had been moving away from hysterical teenage metalcore and switching to thoughtful ballads with elements of electronic music. Although the concert sound was still based on harsh rhythm of the drums and guitar reefs.

“Those who want to listen to “Junk” should play it themselves, - bass player and founder of the band Sergei Marakov comments on Jane Air’s main hit of the mid-2000s. – We want to move forward and press. We want our listeners to follow us”.

Despite of the metamorphoses, the number of Jane air’s fans has not decreased. The fans are really devoted: turning your back into a poster and painting the Eiffel Tower on it is nothing but a joke for them!

Jane Air’s opening band was “Norway” from Minsk.

Did you think that Jane Air was emocore? You were mistaken!

Naturally, there are always about a dozen fans ready to start slamming. Wild dancing starts behind the first row of viewers.

“You viewers are so lively. My friends from the band “Dead Kedy” visited Minsk once and said that the slamming continued even during the break when the audience was supposed to cool down a bit”, - said Anton Sagachko, the drummer.

“Some people come for slamming; others come to listen to music. We are satisfied with the number of both types of viewers”, - adds Anton Lisov, Jane Air’s frontman.

We return to the concert. Lisov says to a slammer: “Try not to injure anyone! And do not injure yourself either!”

An incident occurred 5 minutes later. The stage broke under Anton Sogachko. The musician fell down and hit his head on a brick wall.

“This is not the first time I have fallen down. I decided to jump off my stool in Bryansk and fell back. Fortunately, our technicians managed to catch me. Otherwise, I would have hit the stool with my spine. This tour has begun in a difficult way for me. I accidentally vomited on my leg, and then my thumb got stuck in the car door. I started yelling but could not open the door… Luckily, a big snowdrift was near me so I put my thumb into it. Maybe the magic number 2012 is to blame…”
Toha appeared on the stage 10 minutes later. The musicians decided not to change the playlist and do everything as it had been planned.

“I did not even have time to understand what was going on”, - said Anton answering my question about his thoughts during the fall. “His life is very hectic, - Sergei Makarov joined the conversation. – His life full of parties could flash by only if he fell off a skyscraper in Manhattan”.
The concert goes on. Everyone kneels at the beginning of “My pack” “to stand up” before the refrain. Jane Air’s songs have remained as naïve as they have always been.

We went to the make-up room after the music faded away. “Do you want to touch my button?”, - asked the hero of the night. “The button is huge! It weighs at least a GRAM!” – the musicians were happy.

They say that touching someone else’ button is of good omen. They also say that if you make a wish – it will come true. But I forgot to make a wish. However, it would be good if Jane Air’s 15 concerts that will be given outside Minsk did not lead to any injuries.
