Rechytsa district residents fined for keeping swine despite ban
Twenty two people were fined for keeping swine at private farmsteads in the so-called buffer zone.
According to BelaPAN, the total sum of the fines amounts to Br 8 million 300 thousand. The minimum fine was Br 100 thousand the maximum - Br 1,5 million.
Euroradio reminds, the Ministry of Agriculture adopted Decree No. 30, according to which it is prohibited to keep swine at private farmsteads located in the area of 5 kilometers away from big swine farms. There are two swine farms at the territory of Rechytsa district.
Besides, there are several swine farms in Homel region altogether. However, the BelaPAN journalists found the fined people only in Rechytsa and Mazyr districts. The officials did not inform the exact number of the fined.
