No name yet for H.I.M.’s new album

In late February, the Finnish band H.I.M. plans to start recording their new album.

Recording will take place at the Helsinki-based Finnvox studios together with producer Tim Palmer. The musicians hope the album will be released already in July. H.I.M. have even refused from a tour across the North America in order to concentrate on the album.

However, the musicians have promised to give several concerts this coming spring together with the mobile British “Give It A Name” festival to take place in London, Birmingham and Glasgow on April 27-29.

H.I.M was founded in 1995. The debut album “Greatest Lovesongs, Vol. 666” came out in 1997. Since then, the pop-rock band has released seven more CDs, including the latest “Dark Light” in September 2005.

“Dark Light” gained quick success, with half-million copies sold in the U.S. alone. The worldwide sales went over 900,000 copies.
