Geography on ONT: Slovakia in Balkans
ONT journalists made a funny mistake describing Belarusian diplomats’ appointments on June 13. Ihar Lyashchenya was appointed Ambassador to Slovakia.
ONT: “Ihar Lyashchenya will leave for Slovakia. Bratislava is a decent European friend in the Balkans.”
However, if you look at Europe’s map, you will see that there are the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia.
The author of the news probably confused Slovakia with Slovenia situated in the Balkans.
