Anarchists conducted an unauthorized picket ‘against the government’s antisocial initiatives’ in Minsk on December 8. About 15 people took part in the action near the restaurant McDonalds situated near Pushkinskaya.
The young people took out the banner ‘Government robs people’ at about 6.25 p.m. They lit fires and started shouting mottoes and giving leaflets to passers-by.
"The government is planning to increase the income tax and impose a tax on the unemployed in order to increase the financing for the police in 2015. Anarchists are against this robbery. Those who do work should control and allocate budget money instead of officials who do not care about our problems,” one of the action participants said with the help for a loudspeaker.
The picket lasted for more than 5 minutes, nobody was detained, BelaPAN reports.
