Victoria Azarenka defeated by Venus Williams in Stanford
The Belarusian tennis player has dropped out after her first match at the American tournament.
Azarenka lost to American Venus Williams in two sets –— 4:6, 6:7 (1:7), BELTA reports. The match took 102 minutes. Victioria Azarenka has already played with the elder sister Williams five times – the American won all of the matches.
The tournament in Stanford will finish on Sunday, August 3. The prize fund is $710 thousand.
