Uladzіmіr Berazhkou: The subject of accreditation is not dismissed for us

The “Pressball” newspaper will not get accreditation for the Olympics. The Minister of Sports and Tourism Alyaksandr Hryharau mentioned it in his speech at a press conference on April 30. The first vice President of the National Olympic Committee, the President’s assistant in the issues of sport, physical education and tourism Henadz Alyakseenka added that the accreditation of the mass medium ended on February 29.
The editor-in-chief of “Pressball” Uladzimir Berazhkou does not agree with the statement of the Minister of Sports:

Berazhkou: "It is Hryharau’s opinion. What can be said about it?.. For us, for the newspaper, the subject is not dismissed. We will continue struggling for the accreditation and the subject cannot be dismissed for us”.

By the way, representatives of the sports edition were not allowed to attend the press conference.

Let us remind you that “Pressball” was deprived of the Olympic accreditation according to the decision of the National Olympic Committee on February 28. The NOC thinks that “Pressball” violated the terms of the contract on cooperation by not having informed them about the title of the article “Olympic rubbish heap. Billion that was not studied by scientists” – an article about criminal activities of some employees of the Department of Physical Education and Sports.
