Tell the Truth campaign campaigns for children's playground in Brest

he submitted 1100 signattures to Brest City Hall, seeking to  re-open a children's playground in the Ushod neighborhood. Local activists of the campaign collected the signatures. The Tell the Truth leader put the last signature himself.



Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu: "We organized social actions from the very start as this is an opportunity to talk to people. Both with the people who come to us asking for help and to the people whom we address for help. It means, to talk to the authorities, although not of the highest level. This is what our country lacks badly - the conversation between the authorities and the civil society."


 
The children's playground which is suggested for restoration located in the Uskhod micro-district near the Museum-passenger plane. However, the museum burnt, the plane was given away to another city and the chilren's town was neglected.



He met with local pro-democracy activists of Brest on Tuesday night.
