Sharkou: “No more “Stop-Petrol” actions”

“Why should anything be organized? There is no reason to do it, people are not interested. To make a statement, you should listen to the opposite side and understand why something is going on. People do not want to do anything, they are not in the mood for it”, - said Artsyom Sharkou to Euroradio.

He thinks that drivers’ protest actions may be resumed in summer only if the fuel prices keep increasing. And the increase should be 10 or 15%, not 5%.

Let us remind you that “Belneftekhim” increased the fuel prices by 5% on the night of March 14. It is the first increase in 2012. Fuel prices increased many times in 2011 which resulted in loud protest actions of drivers.
