In July it was higher - 6,808 BYN. But it remains one of the lowest in the industry in 2024. We are talking about the accumulated salary (before taxes).
In terms of foreign currency, the situation with the average salary in IT looks similar. In July, the salary (at the average official exchange rate of the National Bank for the month) amounted to $ 2,143. The anti-record of the year fell again in June - $ 2,121.
But even in this amount, the average salary of IT workers was almost 3 times higher than the average salary in the country. According to Belstat, the average salary in Belarus in July was 2,355 BYN.
