Margaret Thatcher's funeral to take place in London
The former head of the British government died of stroke at 87 on April 8.
The coffin with Margaret Thatcher's body stayed in St. Mary's Chapel in Westminster Palace for the night. On Tuesday evening, there was a short mass in presence of Margaret's relatives, representatives of both Chambers of the Parliament, and her personal staff, who worked at her residence in Downing Street.
On Wednesday, the coffin will go from Westminster Palace to St. Paul's
Cathedral. A chain of about 700 soldiers of the British Army, Navy and Air
Forces will stand at both sides of the road during the route of the procession.
After the requiem, the body of the deceased will be cremated. Only close people
will be admitted to this part of the ceremony, informs ВВС.
The clock on Big Ben near the building of the British Parliament in London will
