Belarus does not expect any problems with YouTube, similar to the Russian. This was stated by the First Deputy Minister of Communications Pavel Tkach to the Sputnik news agency.

The official recalled that in Belarus there are no problems with connecting to Facebook, as there are in Russia. In our country, completely independent telecommunications networks have been created, Tkach pointed out.

"Therefore, we do not expect any problems with YouTube at the moment. Although we also have equipment on Google networks similar to the Russian, but nevertheless we have no such problems," emphasizes the deputy minister.

In Russia, Facebook was blocked after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In Belarus, this social network was not blocked.

Recently, Russia has reported the slowdown of access to YouTube. Notable outages were recorded on August 1 and 8. The official Russian version is that allegedly Google has not invested in updating its servers. Google says that it has nothing to do with the problems.
