German Social Democrats express solidarity with Mikalaj Statkevich
Leader of the Social Democratic Party of Germany Sigmar Gabriel sent a letter to Katsiaryna Statkevich, a daughter of the imprisoned ex-presidential candidate.
The German politician stated in his letter that he watched the events in Belarus very closely. He wrote that he was in awe of Mikalaj Statkevich and his bravery. German Social Democrats will do their best to get him out of prison, reports the press-center of the Bureau of solidarity with Belarus.
