Alyaksandra Herasimenya becomes European Champion (photo)
The Belarusian swimmer won the European Championship gold at the short distance in Chartres, France.
Our athlete won the 50 m freestyle distance. According to interfax.by, she finished in 23,85 seconds. Thus, Herasimenya improved the national record set by herself before by 0,1 seconds.
Besides, one more Belarusian made it to the finals - Svyatlana Khakhlova. She got the 6th place with the result of 24,81 seconds.
