People to lose income if Russia annexes Crimea

The bill will change the Russian Housing Code the following way: “Hotel services and temporary accommodation of citizens in blocks of flats is not allowed.”

If Crimea is annexed, it will mean that the majority of its inhabitants will lose their traditional source of income in the summer season.

The economic measure will cause a collapse in real estate prices and will make flat owners go to the continent to look for jobs, AFN notes.

It will affect the other Russian resorts too, namely the Black Sea resorts in the Caucasus.
