11% of High-Tech Park residents loss-making in 2018

11.5% of companies in the Minsk-based High Technology Park or one in nine residents were loss-making in 2018, according to the data of the National Statistical Committee published by economist Leanid Frydkin. 

For comparison: in 2017, the share of loss-making companies in the HTP was only 3%.

Nevertheless, the net profit of HTP resident companies in 2018 amounted to 723.9 million BYN. Net losses of the loss-making companies amounted to 9.035 million BYN.

In total, there were 454 resident companies in the HTP last year.
