Myasnikovich announces increase in public sector wages in 2015

In 2015, Belarus public sector salaries will grow faster than inflation. This was announced on November 10 by Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich at a meeting with members of the House of Representatives. It was also attended by heads of ministries of Economy and Finance, representatives of the National Bank of Belarus.

"As for the public sector wages, they will grow slightly higher than inflation. That is, there will be pure increase," BELTA quotes the words of Myasnikovich.

Incidentally, the prime minister said that next year the ratio of average public sector wages and the average wage in the country will somewhat improve. They will grow to 75.1%.

Today Mikhail Myasnikovich said that in 2015 Belarus plans to earn $7 billion on the export of agricultural products. It was also noted that the budget surplus in 2015 will be primarily used to repay external public debt.
