Russia explains what produce cannot be imported from Belarus

Starting from October 20, Russia will impose restrictions on the import of plant products from our country. This decision came after a series of warnings about the re-export of banned Western food through Belarus.

The ban applies only to indeterminate products, clarifies press secretary of Rosselkhoznadzor Yulia Trofimova

"We are not talking about the entire plant production. We are banning from import only plant products without labeling. Because there are facts: in 2 months there were more than 80 attempts to import plant products, which could not be identified."

It should be recalled that in August Russia banned the import into their territories of foodstuffs from the European Union, the USA, Canada, Norway and Australia, which had introduced sanctions against it. Ban  also covers fruit and vegetables.
