Video-portraits of 10 political prisoners appear in internet (VIDEO)
Belarusian directors Volha Nikalaichyk and Syarhei Sakur made these documentary films.
The video-cycle was presented on April 17 by the Committee for Aid to the Victims of Repressions "Solidarity". The movies tell about the political prisoners' lives, their past.
The political prisoners' relatives were supposed to take part in this project. However, while the shootings were being prepared, the youngsters were released and could tell about themselves.
Volha Nikalaichyk plans to include part of the videos into the movie about the Belarusian resistance. It is expected that the movie will have been completed by April-May and will be shown at the international film festivals.
