Swedish Ambassador Stefan Eriksson already in Minsk
The Swedish Embassy has confirmed it.
Czech Ambassador Jiří Karas will arrive in Minsk on Friday.
Estonian Ambassador Jaak Lensment is going to return to Belarus by the end of the week, informs Radio Liberty.
Let us remind you that the Belarusian authorities recalled the Ambassador to Poland and the representative in Brussels for consultations at the end of February. The Polish Ambassador and the head of the EU representative office were asked “to return to their capitals” for consultations. The EU member states recalled all their Ambassadors from Belarus in response to it.
Experts started predicting the return of the EU Ambassadors to Minsk after the recent release of political prisoners Andrei Sannikau and Zmitser Bandarenka.
