Penalty department: no information about pardon of political prisoners

Let us remind you that the Belarusian state leader claimed at the meeting dedicated to foreign policy issues on April 5 that “the so-called political prisoners” could be released. Lukashenka noted that he would do it “soon” and that “decisions concerning some people” would be made. He stressed that only those who had pled for mercy would be released (it is known that Andrei Sannikau and Zmitser Bandarenka did it): “Some of them, one or two, did not want to plea for mercy. Okay, it was their decision. Let them be imprisoned!”.
