Latvian PM: EU not to compensate for losses caused by sanctions

The Latvian PM has noted that his country “is against large-scale sanctions which would not only affect many Belarusian citizens, but would also cause losses to the economy of many EU member states including Latvia”.

Dombrovskis has reminded that the problem of imposing economic sanctions will be discussed by the EU Ministers at a meeting in Brussels on March 23. It has been discussed by work groups before.
