IMF demanded that Lukashenka should release political prisoners?
The Belarusian leader is indignant at the fact that the International Monetary Fund has raised political demands.
BelTA quotes Lukashenka and informs that the IMF has demanded to release political prisoners in order to get a credit. According to Lukashenka, it was the IMF’s first demand on the list.
Let us remind you that Belarus asked the IMF for a credit. The official Minsk had hoped to get from $3.5bn to $8bn.
