Belarus does not believe in promised U.S. sanctions on Ice Hockey World Cup
Chair of the Belarusian Hockey Federation Yauhen Vorsin said this.
According to his words quoted by interfax.by, Belarus continues preparation for the Ice Hockey World Cup-2014. Vorsin called the demands of the Western politicans to transfer the Cup to another country not worthwhile. The head of the Belarusian Federation reminded that the International Ice Hockey Federation refused to consider political grounds many times.
Let us remind you, it was suggested to transfer the Ice Hockey World Cup-2014 from Belarus to another country in the Act on Democracy and Human Rights in Belarus. The U.S. President Barack Obama signed this document on January 4.
