Automobiles in Belarusian car dealerships do not get more expensive yet
Euroradio has been told this in the AUDI's representation in Belarus.
Let us remind you, the rumours on including amendments into the state leader's decree "On some issues of vehicles' taxation" started in Autumn. Probably, they are connected with the start of the United Economic Space's activity. In Russia, the VAT for the total price of an automobile is considered to be a norm. In Belarus, auto dealers do not pay it. It was planned that the new rules would come in force since January 1, 2012. However, the new fees have not been introduced yet.
"We haven't increased anything, because, officially, nothing has changed. Have you seen any decree, or order, or act? These are just rumours so far. At present moment, we haven't changed anything", - says an employee of the auto-center's sales department.
Alongside with that, automobile sellers admit that there might be increase of prices. In case the VAT for autos is introduced, the prices will go up by 10-15% depending on a car's model.
