Housing maintenance service to lay off hundreds of workers in Minsk
They are expected to join the Housing Repairs and Utilities Service in 2015.
This will reduce the number of managers and thus strengthen the structure of technical workers with an increase in their salaries. As reported by the Belarus 1 TV channel, 560 people are to be dismissed which will save more than 40 billion rubles a year.
Some of the accountants, legal counsel, economists will move to a higher union, while some will be made redundant. It is noted that creation of a single housing services will reduce tax burden.
