Ales Bialiatski not to leave Belarus
The ex-political prisoner has announced it at the first press conference after his release today, on June 23.
The atmosphere of Belarus is important for him, he feels out of place in the West, Bialiatski claimed.
He is going to continue his human rights activities, he noted. “It will be my main work,” Bialiatski claimed. Furthermore, he is going to resume his literary work. Bialiatksi’s colleagues published the book Sanctified by Belarus based on Bialiatski’s articles and sketches.
