Two Ukraine internationals in the Belarus Ice Hockey Championship have refused to reutrn to Ukraine's national team. Victor Andrushchenko from Khimvolokno Mahilyou who earlier played for Ukraine's juniors, was granted Belarus citizenship last year.  Belarus manager Kurt Fraser called him for the national squad before the Euro Challenge tournament in Norway.

Dmitry Gorbunov from Brest is still in the process of obtaining papers for the Belarusian citizenship. Several days ago, he refused to join the Ukraine juniors' camp, becaue it has been confirmed that he will play for the Belarusian juniors.
