Belarus has declared earlier this week two foreigners accused of being spies as persona non grata. Yet another spy was arrested a month ago, the head of the KGB state security service Valery Vakulchyk said Friday when asked by Euroradio at the House of Representatives. He declined to elaborate on the nationality of those persons.

"The issues related to the work of spies can be linked with foreign policy and the relations between the countries... Usually, such things are are not exposed for the press," Vakulchyk noted.

If Ukraine had not leaked the information about the detention for spying of Ukrainian journalist Pavlo Sharoiko, Belarus would not have revealed this, Vakulchyk added.
