17-year-old schoolgirl and her 18-year-old friend have been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment for drug trafficking ‘in an organized group’ in Homel. One more defendant, 19-year-old teenager, has been sentenced to 3 years of penal labour (the term has been reduced by 12 months because of the amnesty), Radio Liberty reports.
The teenagers made caches of drugs, photographed them and sent their coordinates to ‘a curator’ (their caches were found in Homel and even in Mahilyou). They started working in the autumn of 2018 and were detained soon afterwards. The girl was 16 and her friend was 17 at the moment of the arrest.
