Residents ordered to remove satellite dishes in Pinsk

The housing communal services in the town of Pinsk, Brest region ordered to local residents to dismantle privately owned satellite antennas. The order was circulated throughout the town this week. According to the deputy chief of the local Housing Communal Service company Mikalai Bazan, dish owners are expected to remove the antennas by themselves, otherwise they are to face fines.

The official said that the dishes allegedly "damaging the view of the buildings and their facades". The local town authorities pretend they have nothing to do with the decision of the housing maintenance agencies, reports the press service of the Belarusian Association of Journalists.
