Minister of Economy spots no price increase

Minister of Economy Mikalai Snapkou has answered people's questions on the phone today. Euroradio asked him about the constant increase of prices for the most common goods, but the Minister refuted the fact.

Snapkou: "I also do shopping. I usually go to "Radzivilauski" supermarket. I do not think that the prices are constantly changing. The Belarusian statistics also testifies to it."

At the same time, Mr Snapkou noted that the prices would never stop increasing in Belarus, because this country lives in market economy conditions, with prices regulated by supply and demand.

The consumer prices in Belarus grew by 4.3% in the first two month of 2013.
