Lithuanian MFA want to punish 18 Belarusian officials for Byalyatski's case

This has been informed by Іnterfax.by with a reference to the Lithuanian MFA. The names and positions of the officials are not disclaimed. It is only stated that they are "connected with persecution of the human rights center "Viasna" and its leaders". In accordance with the legislation, the MFA has addressed to the Department of Migration with a corresponding request.

Lithuania has also addressed to other EU countries. It suggests to include these Belarusian officials into the EU's "black list". 

Let us remind you, Ales Byalyatski was arrested on the ground of the information provided by the officials of Poland and Lithuania. In Belarus, he was accused of tax evasion. The human rights defender faces up to 7 years of imprisonment.
