EU representation: There are consultations on ambassadors' return to Minsk

It is too early to say that EU's ambassador Maira Moora will appear in Minsk office in the nearest days. This is how the EU's Representation in Belarus has commented the information that the EU's ambassadors were ordered to get back to Belarus before March 23, to Euroradio.

EU's Representation: "We have no information in this regard yet. We know only what the press knows - all of them (EU's states' ambassadors - Euroradio) will stick to the sole and coordinated approach to the return of all European Union's ambassadors".

Let us remind you, on February 28 the Belarusian MFA suggested that the EU's Ambassador Maira Moora and Poland's Ambassador Leszek Szerepka "should leave for their countries' capitals for consultations". The ambassadors of all the other EU states left Belarus right after them. Recently there appeared information that the ambassadors should return to Minsk before March 23 - the day when the EU's Council of Foreign Ministers is supposed to consider expansion of sanctions against the Belarusian authorities.
