Equipment confiscated at FEMEN’s action given back to journalists
Photo journalist Yuliya Darashkevich has informed Euroradio about it. The photo and video equipment was arrested for almost a month.
Let us remind you that Ukrainian activists organized an action near KGB in the centre of Minsk on December 19. Members of special police troops detained journalists – Yuliya Darashkevich and Tatstsyana Haurylchyk – for some reason. They were delivered to the police office and detained for the whole day. Their equipment was confiscated.
Darashkevich: “The equipment has been given back to us. Everything seems to be working – they checked it in the District Department of the Interior. My photo camera with a lens and my notebook were confiscated back then”.
According to the journalist, the police have also returned the video camera confiscated at the action to Tatstsyana Haurylchyk.
