Yanka Kupala memory sign was unveiled in a square named after the Belarusian classical author in the Israeli city of Ashdod.
A memory sign to Yanka Kupala has appeared in Ashbad, Israel. A square is named after the Belarusian classical author there. The installation of the sign was dated for the 130th anniversary of Yanka Kupala’s birthday, BELTA reports. It was initiated by the Belarusian Embassy and the local affiliate of the All-Israel Association of Expatriate Belarusians. It was supported by the local authorities.
