Participants of the action gathered near Saint Yazep’s Catholic Church at about 5 p.m. Believers have been trying to restore this church for six years. People prayed for political prisoners there.
Then the participants headed for the Red Catholic Church along International and Valadarski Streets and Independence Avenue. Two public prayers were said opposite Valadarski prison and on the threshold of the former choral synagogue hosting the Gorki Russian Drama Theatre nowadays.
Then they headed towards the Red Catholic Church and lit candles near the sculpture of Archangel Michael. The people stayed in the church for a mass later.
