Frenchman Patrick Modiano gets Nobel Literature Prize
He is 69 years old and comes from an ancient Jewish family. Almost all his works are autobiographic and connected with the WWII in France.
The literature prize is one of the five most popular Nobel Prizes. Belarusian writer Svyatlana Aleksiyevich was among the nominees in 2013 and 2014.
The award ceremony will be held in Stockholm on December 10. The Nobel Prize in Literature totaled $1 million 200 thousand last year.
