Eggs disappear from Brest markets

Entrepreneurs have stopped selling eggs at the Central Market of Brest. The reason for it was decision #1256 of the Council of Minister taken on October 3, 2007.
According to it, it has been forbidden to sell eggs at markets. They can only be sold by producers or private entrepreneurs in shops. About five dozen Brest entrepreneurs and their employees have been left jobless. They cannot open shops at the market because a shop should occupy at least 25 square meters. At the same time they cannot work at the market and they have already paid their rent till March 2008, reports “Vechernii Brest”.
