Cyclone Emma comes to Belarus from Carpathian Mountains
The cyclone Emma has arrived in Belarus from the Carpathian Mountains. Heavy snowfalls were registered in Brest and Homel Provinces at night (7mm) and 1-2 mm – in M323.Sink. However, the precipitation will increase during the day.
The cyclone is heading for Russia. The snow depth may increase by 10-15 cm today. There will be heavy snowfalls in Minsk, BELTA reports. Sleet is expected in some areas of Homel Province. The temperature will be -3…39 degrees Celsius and 0…-2 – in northern Belarus.
Emma will leave Belarus on Sunday.
