Belarus headhunting for nuclear plant operators

Belarus is selecting experienced operators of nuclear power plants, hoping to hire them to work at the future Belarusian plant, Interfax quotes Mikhail Mikhadzyuk, deputy energy minister, as saying.

Interfax says Mikhadzyuk made the statement in an interview with Belarus' state-controlled newspaper Sovetskaya Belorussiya.

He says that selectors' prime targets are experts who were trained in Belarus and currently work in the nuclear industries of other countries. He adds that the government is soon expected to come up with a nuclear industry personnel training program.
