14:40 Flu awaits 200 thousand Minsk inhabitants
More then 200 thousand people may catch flu during the epidemic in Minsk. The forecast has been announced by the head of Minsk City Centre for hygiene and epidemiology Fyodar Hermanovіch.
According to him, 43.5 thousand people asked for medical care last week. The infection rate of flu and Respiratory Viral Infection has grown by 80% for adults and by 25% for children in Minsk, informs BelTA.
Thus, the number of people who have caught flu may increase by 4 or 5 times soon.
