UCP leader to be released today

Lyabedzka was detained together with activists of the United Civil Party near Kamarouski Market at a picket of solidarity with political prisoners on March 16. The opposition politician was returned guilty of violating the mass actions law and of ‘petty hooliganism’. He spent the local election day and the Freedom Day in jail.

Anatol Lyabedzka will be released at 10.30 a.m., BelaPAN reports.
