Trials of travel banned Belarusians to take place today

The complaint lodged by head of the Belarusian Helsinki Committee Aleh Hulak had to take place on July 16 but was postponed because representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs had not appeared in court.

Let us remind you that the human rights defender is trying to appeal the actions of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Hulak received a reference forbidding him to leave Belarus in March. According to it, the human rights defender had been sued. Hulak sued the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the illegal travel ban in April.

The complaint of the head of the information and educational institution "Platform" Andrei Bandarenka about his presence on the travel ban list has to take place in Minsk Central District Court on July 20. It became known yesterday that Bandarenka had been registered by KGB "for preventive purposes".
