Swedish HR defender denied in Belarusian visa
Head of the Swedish human rights organization Östgruppen Martin Uggla couldn't get even a transit visa.
The human rights defender planned to go to Ukraine for the Euro-2012 football championship together with his family. They wanted to return home through Belarus.
Uggla thinks that this is the way the Belarusian authorities want to punish him for the frequent criticism against the official Minsk in the sphere of human rights. Nevertheless, the human rights defender says, he is not going to keep silence about the situation with human rights in Belarus because of this denial.
