Political prisoner Zmitser Dashkevich has lung inflammation
The opposition politician's fiancée, Nasta Palazhanka, has informed Euroradio about it.
She has visited Hlybokaye colony together with the lawyer. According to Nasta Palazhanka, one-sided pneumonia was discovered in Zmitser during a medical check-up. The political prisoner has been taken to the medial unit.
Let us remind you that Zmitser Dashkevich has been imprisoned since December 2010. He was sentenced to two years of imprisonment in a medium security colony in April 2011 for an alleged beating of two Minskers. The politician is serving his sentence in Hlybokaye colony.
A new criminal case was started against Dashkevich on July 18. He was accused of "repeated disobedience to the colony administration". He is facing one more year of imprisonment. Zmitser Dashkevich was put into a punishment cell again not long ago. He celebrated his 31st birthday after he had been released from it.
